Liam Copley

Liam was admitted to practice in 1997.  Since that time he practised both in Brisbane and Sydney specialising in Commercial Litigation and Insolvency in matters throughout Australia.

He has acted in large and complex disputes in a range of industries including Banking and Finance, Insurance, Property Development, Mining and Agriculture. He regularly acts for banks and insurers and has acted for and against liquidators, administrators, receivers and bankruptcy trustees for most of his career.

Liam has also practised in industrial relations having appeared in lengthy trials and appeals in the Federal Courts and Fair Work Australia.

Liam is regularly appointed to mediate disputes between parties and has conducted mediations both in person and on-line.

Liam has appeared in Doyle’s Guide as a leading barrister since 2014.
