Matt Callanan

Matt’s 17 years in private practice have been spent immersed in the factual and legal issues encountered during commercial disputes.  More than 10 years of that time has been spent at the Bar, where he has gained significant experience in the conduct of trials, unled, ranging from 1 to 5 days.  His initial 5 years of practise were as a litigation lawyer, working in commercial disputes.

Matt’s practice is almost entirely devoted to commercial litigation and advice at trial level.  Particular areas of interest, within that, include contracts, commercial equity, insolvency and other matters arising from the corporations law.
